Compostela path

There are 4 roads which lead to St James of Compostella. Pélerins - or backgammons - coming from the North and from the Northeast of Europe follows the path of Tours(Ballots,Towers) or via Turonensis, appellée autefois " St Jacques's big path " (1749 km).

The section going from Compiègne to the Tower St Jacques (The path Estelle) in Paris, cross our territory (Luzarches, Bellefontaine, Châtenay-en-France). It makes alternate hiking trails, forrestiers paths and small country roads. The delight and the surprise are there, so much the natural heritage or built is rich.

Sites " Via Turonensis " or " Estelle's path " proposes descriptive index cards.
